Nothile Samkelwe Mkhize | South Africa Nothile Mkhize has over 12 years of experience in development planning. Currently, Nothile is a senior urban development planner at Pravin Amar Development Planners, specializing in sustainable urban development projects aimed at enhancing community resilience and promoting inclusive growth. In addition to her professional role, Nothile is the founder and coordinator of the Lilitha Foundation NPO, where she leads initiatives to empower youth through educational programs, with a particular emphasis on climate literacy workshops. Nothile holds a national diploma in town and regional planning and a bachelor's degree in technology in management, coupled with certificates in various short courses. Nothile is driven by her passion for creating positive change in her community and addressing the challenges faced by underserved youth. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Nothile plans to further expand her impact by leveraging her enhanced leadership skills and international networks to advance sustainable urban development and youth empowerment efforts in her home country of South Africa.
